This definitive ELVIS poem was written by Thorne
to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of ELVIS' death and since then over
100,000 copies have been printed and distributed worldwide. Since 1997 more
than 15,000 fans have heard this recitation on Thorne's commemorative tribute
CD and tens of thousands more have read it in publications, newsletters and
on websites around the world. This poem was first printed in the ELVIS International
Forum in the Fall of 1998 and received a "Meritorious Poem" award
from The International Society of Poets in 2000.
